Athlete Comments & Reviews

“Playing sport helps in daily life”

“I think competing is part of life. Life is all about competing, learning how to roll with the punches and get up and fight again for another day. And that’s what sports is all about.”

“You might compete against World Champions”

“Masters Games, you never know who the competition is going to be until you have a few races. Quite often they’re former Olympians or World Champions in their day. You get a very broad spectrum of athletes and their abilities over their lives which is a really good thing really.”

“You just don’t want to leave”

“It’s impossible to let go, once you taste this adventure, when you come to these countries and compete and have these feelings and podium and everything. You just want it to continue.”
