“Later in your years there is a beautiful opportunity to stay fit and it can help you with the workplace, it can help you with injuries and even in your nutrition. It’s really good for a person and what the Masters Games does it brings it to a whole new level, now we can travel and experience this with other people and see what that can do yor you in your latter years.”

You see it here in these international competitions as well; who are so fast, they are not just participating, they’re absolutely smashing it. Across so many different sports. People are incredible with what they’re achieving.”

I’m really proud of myself I was able to get myself back into a place in sport where I was, and be positive about life again. At the age of 62 right now, I’m so blessed. Beyond, I mean, I get emotional.
